When you're up against a trouble,
Meet it squarely, face to face;

This is a Bible scripture that kept going through my mind, so I thought I would share it with everyone else. I will write more later.

The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Hab.3:19
Ps.18:33

Hinds' feet means He makes my feet like deer's feet, and sets me on my high places.

It Shows in Your Face

Do you find yourself discouraged with your life's circumstances? Do your situations seem to hard to handle? Dark mysteries bring great blessings. In the gloom, qualities like faith, grit, and dedication, are stretched to limits we have never before reached. When life seems so oppressive we are oblivious to our triumphs. In pristine conditions eyes of faith can see forever. It is the conditions, not you, that have deteriorated. Earth sees us flattened on the wrestling ring canvas in faith's fight. Heaven sees us forming on the canvas of the Great Artist. Half-completed works of the art look ugly. All that matters is the finished masterpiece. Forget appearance. Yield to the Artist. The result will be breath-taking.

Valentine's Day

What is Valentine's Day?

It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine cards, candy or donations to charities, often anonymously.

The Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately One Billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year behind Christmas. Estimates show that women purchase approximately 85 percent of all valentines.

Here's what Valentine's Day mean to a few children at Life Tab:

Madison: Valentines Day is a time for love. Love is caring and showing respect.

Kelsey: Valentines Day is somebody falling in love. Love is having a crush on someone. Love is sometimes loving your brother.

Howie: Valentines Day is getting cards and candy.

Darren: Valentines Day is love, parties, and candy. Love is about loving each other, and having a girlfriend.

If only adults could look through the eyes of a child and see how simple love could really be, then there wouldn't be so many divorces, and broken homes. The Love of God is so much Greater.

All I Need

A young woman was packing a suitcase for a long trip.

She said to a woman who was watching her, "I'm just about finished. I only have to put in a guidebook, a lamp, a mirror, my favorite love letters, a microscope, a telescope, a volume of fine poetry, a song book, a few biographies, a package of old letters, a sword, and a set of books I have been studying."

The onlooker gasped, "How do you intend to get all that in your suitcase? It's almost full now!"

The young woman replied, "Oh, all that won't take much room."

She then walked over to a table, picked up her Bible, placed it in the corner of her suitcase, and closed the lid.

Winking at her friend, she said, "And I even got in a loaf of living bread, too."
